Hot Lunch

SJNDS offers a hot lunch program delivered by local businesses every full day of school. A lunch calendar is sent home monthly and orders are placed and paid for ahead of time.

Milk and juice are available for purchase separately at the beginning of the school year. Students who do not order hot lunch must bring lunches from home. We encourage parents to make certain that these lunches are healthy.

Extension

The Extended Day Program (EDP) is an extension of the school day, operating both before and after school. The program is open to any student enrolled at SJNDS. The program is open each day school is in session from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., regardless of the length of the school day. EDP is open for Kindergarten students each day that EDP is open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and from 11:40 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Study Hall

Study hall is a free one-hour after-school program available Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. which provides the students a quiet place to study. It is supervised by a faculty member. Students who are not picked up by 4 p.m. will be sent to EDP and charged accordingly.
